Survival after parathyroidectomy in chronic hemodialysis patients with severe secondary hyperparathyroidism

Abstract: We compared clinical and laboratory outcomes in HD patients with severe sHPT. Mortality, bone pain and mineral markers were improved by PTX. Total and subtotal PTX had similar clinical outcomes.
