A state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being is called health. Although chatbots have been used in this sector a lot and in many different contexts in the past, there is always an opportunity for additional creative applications. AI use cases for healthcare conversations can be customized and suited to specific industries. Patients may utilize them to learn more about their condition, possible treatments, or even the extent of their insurance coverage. Numerous healthcare organizations are thinking about implementing healthcare chatbots into their operations because studies have shown that they can greatly decrease wait times and increase patient satisfaction.There are several uses for chatbots in the healthcare industry, including monitoring, anonymity, customisation, in-person interaction, and more. In this case study, the probable illness type of the patient will be ascertained based on the user's input regarding the patient's symptoms. Precautions will be advised based on the nature of the illness, and the patient will be referred to a physician who specializes in that area. The symptoms in the text were extracted using a sequential model, and the patient's condition type was then predicted using the CNN method.

Conversational AI is one of the most active research areas in AI, and it has gained more attention from academia as well as industry. Given recent advancements in several conversational AI systems in addition to the availability of several datasets, the aim of this study is to explore the landscape of Arabic text-based conversational AI systems. In this work, we provide a thorough review of recent Arabic conversational AI systems. We group them into three categories based on their functionality: (1) questionanswering (QA) systems, (2) task-oriented dialogue systems (DS), and (3) chatbots. Furthermore, we describe the common datasets used in building and evaluating conversational AI systems in Arabic. Few surveys have targeted the conversational AI field for the Arabic language, and we aim to cover this gap with this study. Our contribution focuses on reviewing and analyzing the literature in the field and highlighting future research directions towards human-like conversational AI systems in Arabic.

An Exploratory Study on a Reinforcement Learning Prototype for Multimodal Image Retrieval Using a Conversational Search Interface

In the realm of information, conversational search is a relatively new trend. In this study, we have developed, implemented, and evaluated a multiview conversational image search system to investigate user search behaviour. We have also explored the potential for reinforcement learning to learn from user search behaviour and support the user in the complex information seeking process. A conversational image search system may mimic a natural language discussion with a user via text or speech, and then assist the user in locating the required picture via a dialogue-based search. We modified and improved a dual-view search interface that displays discussions on one side and photos on the other. Based on the states, incentives, and dialogues in the initial run, we developed a reinforcement learning model and a customized search algorithm in the back end that predicts which reply and images would be provided to the user among a restricted set of fixed responses. Usability of the system was validated using methodologies such as Chatbot Usability Questionnaire, System Usability Scale, and User Experience Questionnaire, and the values were tabulated. The result of this usability experiment proved that most of the users found the system to be very usable and helpful for their image search.
