ABSTRACTtechnique that will hasten nerve regeneration or accelerate the growth of regenerating axons along the nerve sheath (1).Currently, nerve injuries are mostly secondary to motor vehicle accidents, blast and fire arm injuries. The most common type is the closed and traction type nerve injury (1). Other causes include falls, post surgical and post injection, post-irradiation and knife cuts etc.The present study aims to evaluate the microsurgical outcome in peripheral nerve injuries and its correlation with time since injury and the type of the operative procedure performed.
