“…It is interesting that two of the three patients reported by Lehtonen and Tenhunen (1973) were on anti-coagulants at the time that they developed priapism. Griffiths and Webb (1973) report five patients who developed priapism. One had chronic myeloid leukaemia, one was being treated with guanethidine for hypertension, two were on heparin therapy and home haemodialysis and one had spontaneous idiopathetic priapism.…”
