Abstract:Background: Acute dislocation of the thumb carpometacarpal (CMC) joint is a rare and challenging injury, and its treatment remains controversial. The purpose of the study was to evaluate the clinical outcome after surgical repair of the dorsal capsulo-ligamentous complex.
