Surgical Excision of Oral Verrucose Carcinoma Using Diode Laser: A Case Report

Abstract: Background: Oral Verrucous Carcinoma is a form of oral cancer with a very less malignant potency. There are variable number of verrucous tumors of oral cavity which are hard to distinguish clinically. It is a slow growing tumor and which rarely metastasize. The tumor is mostly seen on the buccal mucosa and is associated with tobacco and similar habits. The treatment of choice is surgical excision with wide margins.
