Surfactant-coupled titanium dioxide coated iron-aluminium mixed metal hydroxide for magnetic solid phase extraction of bisphenols in carbonated beverages

Abstract: In this work, the magnetic sorbents based on different surfactant-coupled titanium dioxide coated iron-aluminium mixed metal hydroxide were investigated as sorbent for extraction of bisphenol compounds. The structure, morphology, and magnetic property of the synthesized sorbents were investigated. The cetyltrimethylammonium bromide-titanium dioxide coated iron-aluminium mixed metal hydroxide (Fe-Al MMH@TiO 2 -CTAB) exhibited excellent extraction performance toward bisphenols and was selected as the sorbent for… Show more

“…B Overlapped main purposes with other secondary objectives of the analyzed papers [64] or by air pollution near polycarbonate molding plants [65], bee pollen [66], mussels [67] and brine shrimp [68]. Food contamination was determined in meat samples [53], beverages [55,69,70], milk [59,63,71,72], oils [56,63], and canned food products [59,71,73] with most studies revealing that BPA could be leached from the plastic can linings, packaging, and bottles [53,55,56,71,[74][75][76].…”

“…In addition, Elhefnawy and Elabd prepare AlBaNi-LDH nanoparticles by coprecipitation method showed good performance in U (VI) adsorption efficiency in neutral pH. [13][14][15] MnO 2 is a poorly crystalline oxide with a large specific surface area and effective adsorption ability for metal ions such as Cu (II), Cd (II), and U (VI). Manganese oxide has a typical hydrated oxide surface, and the surface hydroxyl can be combined with various metal heavy metal ions to form a hydroxyl complex, which reflects its adsorption potential for heavy metal ions.…”
