Abstract:In three-dimensional inverse scattering problems, the reconstruction of a solid scatterer is often difficult, if not impossible, and computationally expensive due to the dimensionality. To obtain only the geometrical information, a surface reconstruction algorithm is nattwally more, desirable since no additional knowledge can be gained ft'ore doing the solid reconstruction and the computation is reduced to two dimensions. With the application of the first Born approximation, this paper proposes a simple surfac… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
