Surface Modification by Low Temperature Plasma: Sterilization of Biodegradable Materials

Abstract: Effect of low temperature plasma treatment on mortality of several microorganisms, Penicillium chrysogenum, Cladosporium cladosporioides, Aspergillus fumigatus, Fusarium culmorum, Escherichia coli, and Staphylococcus aureus, deposited on polylactide (PLA) surface, was investigated.
