Surface Functionalization of Gold Nanorods Improves Nanostructure Assemblies on Amyloid Fibril Scaffolds

Abstract: A hybrid scaffold containing gold nanorods and lysozyme amyloid fibrils has been fabricated, and the effect of surface modification on improving nanostructure assembly on the biological template has been investigated.
