“…First, several furan‐based monomers were synthesized to prepare polyurethanes, which were subsequently crosslinked with maleimides through the typical DA/rDA reaction. Secondly, perfluoroalkyl diazomethane was synthesized and introduced onto the surface of SiO 2 nanoparticles by carbene insertion approach, which was proved by us to be a short synthetic route with mild reaction conditions, and could be further used to introduce color, fluorescence, biocompatibility, and biocidal properties . Finally, polymer nanocomposite films were prepared by mixing modified SiO 2 nanoparticles with self‐healing polyurethanes, followed by the characterization of their mechanical property and surface performance.…”

“…In this work, a gelatin membrane, prepared by electrospinning in order to generate a porous structure, was surface modified with two bis(diaryldiazomethane)s. This modified gelatin membrane was a further example of the carbene modification of natural polymers, which had already been applied for the modification of color, hydrophobicity, biocompatibility, protein binding and adsorption, and payload delivery effects on various surfaces. The subsequent cross‐linking reaction between the end‐group amines and diisocyanates gave a structurally robust surface, which was expected to bind hydrogen peroxide and largely endowed with the antibacterial activity.…”
