Abstract: Caenorhabditis elegans is an important genetic model for neuroscience studies due to its unique combination of genetics, transparency, complete synaptic connectome, and well-characterized behaviors. These factors, in turn, enable analyses of how genes control connectivity, neuronal function, and behavior.
