Abstract

RESUMOO cafeeiro Conilon é uma das principais culturas do Estado do Espírito Santo, com grande influência na economia do Estado. Seu cultivo tem sido realizado com uso da irrigação devido a ocorrência de veranicos na região norte do Estado. A irrigação ou até mesmo o suprimento de água em épocas, quantidades e intervalos corretos pode promover grandes aumentos de produtividade na lavoura cafeeira, além de menores perdas para a planta. Por isso torna-se interessante o estabelecimento de lâminas de irrigação que atenda a real necessidade do cafeeiro. Se faz necessário uma abordagem mais profunda em relação ao cafeeiro Conilon, já que parte dos trabalhos na literatura está voltada para o café Arábica, em que os diversos trabalhos apresentam, tempos e épocas diferentes de interrupção de irrigação, mostrando que esse conceito de manejo pode varia entre as regiões, cultivos ou até mesmo do manejo da cultura.
