Supramolecular Organization and Optical Properties of Langmuir-Schaefer Films of N,N'-di(3,5-Dimethylphenyl)diimide 1,1'-Binaphthyl-4,4',5,5',8,8'-Hexacarboxylic Acid
Abstract:of this compound on quartz and silicon substrates were obtained. By means of electron absorption spectroscopy it was found that only H-type aggregates contained in the film structure. The average size of the aggregates was determined using atomic force microscopy. It is shown that thiourea dioxide does not change the structure of the studied film, in contrast to its previously studied effect on the film formed by N,
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
