This article provides an in-depth analysis of China's dairy industry, focusing on the leading companies Mengniu and Yili. The article examines the size and value chain distribution of the industry, which is dominated by brand manufacturers, and analyzes both the supply and demand sides. The per capita consumption of dairy products is increasing, and high-end liquid milk is gaining popularity. With a valuation analysis using the comparable company valuation method on Mengniu and Yili. The article provides a detailed analysis of the size and value chain distribution within the industry, which is predominantly led by brand manufacturers.
