Suppression of experimental colitis by intestinal mononuclear phagocytes

Abstract: The contribution of innate immunity to inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) remains an area of intense interest. Macrophages (MØ) and dendritic cells (DC) are considered important factors in regulating the onset of IBD.
