Suppression of antiferromagnetic order in the electron-doped cuprate TLa2xCexCuO4±

Abstract: We performed systematic angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy measurements in-situ on T'-La2-xCexCuO4±d (LCCO) thin films over the extended doping range prepared by the refined ozone/vacuum annealing method. Electron doping level (n), estimated from the measured Fermi surface volume, varies from 0.05 to 0.23, which covers the whole superconducting dome. We observed an absence of the insulating behavior around n ~ 0.05 and the Fermi surface reconstruction shifted to n ~ 0.11 in LCCO compared to that of othe… Show more

“…[17] While this method can in situ dope the surface layers of hole-doped Bi 2 Sr 2 CaCu 2 O 8+𝛿 (Bi2212) and electron-doped La 2−𝑥 Ce 𝑥 CuO 4 over a wide doping range, it fails to reach the opposite doping side. [18,19] Here we focus on the Bi2212 system again, but by using a new CaH 2 annealing method to further reduce the valence of Cu, which is inspired by the discovery of nickelate superconductors. [20] In this Letter, we report a systematic study of regulating the doping level of Bi2212 by the CaH 2 annealing method [Fig.…”
