Abstract:Photonic crystal slabs (PCS) are a promising platform for optical biosensing. Yet, flexible applications based on PCS for biosensing have been limited, as the mechanical properties influence the optical ones. Here, we show the suppression of the mechanochromism effect for flexible PCS.
