Support for the Development of Member Municipalities Metropolis GZM With Application of the Metropolitan Solidarity Fund

Abstract

In order to reduce the differences in the level of socioeconomic development of municipalities, Metropolis GZM, which is an association of 41 member municipalities, has put in place the "Metropolitan Solidarity Fund" Program. The purpose of this Program is to provide financial support in the form of a targeted subsidy for weaker member municipalities to implement their own tasks of great importance for the development of the metropolitan area. The article analyzes and evaluates the amount of support in the form of targeted subsidies for individual member municipalities from the Metropolitan Solidarity Fund Program.
