Abstract. In the paper are presented solutions for securing the core University Business Processes. A Method for identification which Business processes are critical for security point of view, on which is required to pay more attention for its securing. For securing of the elected Business processes is developed a new security system -Extended Certification Authority. Special Secure eDocument Management Architecture is developed, on which base are developed the solutions for securing the following University Business processes -Delegation of exam permissions to lecturers, Recording exam marks, and Exchange management documents.

Abstract. Supplier selection becomes very important when used in the context of strategic partnerships because of the long-term orientation of the relationship. This paper describes the application of a decision-making approach for selecting a strategic partner (supplier). The approach starts with defining a set of criteria that fits the company's condition. In the next steps, a combination of fuzzy-ANP and TOPSIS methods is used to determine the weight for each criterion and rank all the alternatives. The application of the approach in an Indonesian manufacturing company showed that the three factors that got the highest weight were "geographical location", "current operating performance", and "reliability". Geographical location got the highest weight because it affects many other factors such as reaction to changes in demand, after-sales service, and delivery lead-time. Application of the approach helps decision-makers to gain effectiveness and efficiency in the decision-making process because it facilitates them to express their group's collective preferences while also providing opportunities for members to express their individual preferences. Future research can be directed at combining qualitative and quantitative criteria to develop the best criteria and methods for the selection of the best suppliers based on fuzzy ANP and TOPSIS.

Vendor selection (VS) is a decision-making problem involving strategic management. In the VS approach, criteria and importance weights must be carefully selected to meet supply chain competitive strategies. Most existing VS models use buying-firm's perspectives for VS criteria formulation. This study examines the demand and supply views of 108 valid respondents regarding the importance weights of VS criteria under four operations strategies. The multinomial probability distribution analysis and variance weighting method are employed to categorize the individual relative importance weights. This study derives exploratory explanations by conducting in-depth interviews with 12 functional managers focusing on their divergent perspectives on importance weighting of VS criteria. This study also discusses the derived applications of Herzberg's two-factor theory, supplier integration, and the operating philosophy of total quality management to mitigate the influences of the widely used explicit operational criteria in existing VS models. Finally, this study provides recommendations for future research on VS.
