Supplementary Figure S1 from Simvastatin-Induced Apoptosis in Osteosarcoma Cells: A Key Role of RhoA-AMPK/p38 MAPK Signaling in Antitumor Activity

Abstract:
(A) Phase-contrast microscopy of AXT cells treated with 10 μM simvastatin for 24 h in the absence or presence of mevalonate, GGPP, or FPP. (B) Representative migratory AXT cells stained with crystal violet after exposure to simvastatin for 12 h. (C, D) Flow cytometric analysis of DNA content in AXT cells treated with 5 μM simvastatin for 24 h in the absence or presence of mevalonate, GGPP, or FPP (C). The size of the sub-G1 fraction of cells was also determined (D).
