Supersensitive sensors based on multicore optical fibres

Abstract: In this work, we demonstrate the use of particularly characterised multicore optical fibres (MCFs) to devise compact, compellingly simple, ultrasensitive interferometric sensors which are capable of sensing single or multiple physical parameters.
