Superparticle phenomenology from the natural mini-landscape

Abstract: The methodology of the heterotic mini-landscape attempts to zero in on phenomenologically viable corners of the string landscape where the effective low energy theory is the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model with localized grand unification. The gaugino mass pattern is that of mirage-mediation. The magnitudes of various SM Yukawa couplings point to a picture where scalar soft SUSY breaking terms are related to the geography of fields in the compactified dimensions. Higgs fields and third generation scalars… Show more

“…The spectrum of Higgs bosons and superpartners from the mini-landscape [123] is thus expected to be rather similar to that expected from the full landscape of MSSM theories provided both invoke a natural solution to the SUSY µ problem with µ ∼ 100 − 300 GeV [114].…”

“…Large number of sequestered hidden sectors have also been considered recently in [19][20][21], in models with multiple (pseudo)goldstini. Other works which have addressed supersymmetric soft spectrum phenomenology from the landscape following [22] include [23][24][25][26].…”

“…[33], it was emphasized that for natural SUSY models with gaugino mass unification, the pp → Z 1Z2 j reaction followed byZ 2 → l þ l −Z 1 decay, combined with the SSdB channel, would cover the majority of natural SUSY parameter space with Δ EW < 30 at the high luminosity LHC. This conclusion no longer obtains in string-motivated models such as natural generalized mirage mediation [34] or the minilandscape [35] where the compressed spectrum of gauginos may allow for both wino and gluino masses beyond HL-LHC reach even while maintaining naturalness.…”
