“…Recently, noncentrosymmetric superconductors (NCSs) have received great attention for which NCSs can hold a mixed pairing state of spin-singlet and spin-triplet due to the asymmetric spin–orbit coupling (ASOC) effect during inversion symmetry break. , Fortunately, Nb 2 B 5 is predicted to be a new NCS that have a relatively high T C in the NCSs family, for example, the T C of some well-known NCSs like PbTaSe 2 , CePt 3 Si, LaNiC 2 , and Li 2 Pt 3 B are 3.8, 0.7, 2.8, and 2.7 K, respectively, while Nb 3 B 7 is a centrosymmetric superconductor. We then use vasp2trace and Check Topological Mat. , to roughly judge the topological catalog of Nb-B binaries, and the results are listed in Table S3.…”

“…In recent years, there has been a growing interest in noncentrosymmetric superconductors (NCSs), which can be defined as a type of superconductor that lacks an inversion center in the crystal structure. One significant effect in NCSs is the antisymmetric spin–orbit coupling (ASOC), which allows for the mixed paring of spin-singlet and spin-triplet states under superconducting transition temperatures ( T c ), i.e., the (s + p)-wave paring. ,, These unconventional excitations make the existence of the Majorana zero modes or Majorana corner modes possible, which are treated as promising cornerstone that can be manipulated to realize the fault-tolerant topological quantum computations. In addition, the presence of these mixed pairing can go beyond the conventional Bardeen–Cooper–Schrieffer (BCS) frame, displaying distinctive characteristics, which can lead to some fascinating properties such as nodal superconducting gaps , and anisotropic upper critical fields that surpass the Pauli limit …”
