“…Bi 2 MoO 6 is a chemically stable photocatalyst with a narrow bandgap, and its photocatalytic activity can be improved through coupling with carbon-based materials. Kumar et al [63] prepared Si-doped CDs-23 by hydrothermal method. CDs-23/Bi 2 MoO 6 photocatalyst was obtained by modifying CDs-23 onto Bi 2 MoO 6 .…”

“…From the figure, it is clear that there is a two-step weight loss of 18 and 4% at about 75–108 and 245–281 °C, respectively. The first weight loss may be due to the evaporation of moisture and other organic solvents, and the second mass loss can be attributed to the detachment of thiol (TGA) ligands present in the ZCIS-2 moiety, indicating better stability of the QD up to 600 °C. , Furthermore, a comparison plot for H 2 O 2 evolution and CIP degradation of various photocatalysts is given in Figure , which shows the superiority of the present work (ZCIS QD) over other QD systems previously reported. …”

“…The role of specific ROS toward photocatalytic degradations of TC and CIP was studied by the radical scavenging method. 21 In this regard, ammonium oxalate (AO, 1.0 mM), 67 isopropyl alcohol (IPA,1.0 mM), 68 sodium azide (NaN 3 , 1.0 mM), 69 and chloroform (1.0 mM) 70 were added as quenchers in the reaction medium comprising 2-ACCN/ Bi 2 WO 6 as the photocatalyst and TC/CIP for scavenging photogenerated holes (h + ), hydroxyl radicals (OH • ), singlet oxygen ( 1 O 2 ), and superoxide radicals (O 2 −• ), respectively. It is noted that the photocatalytic degradations of TC and CIP were significantly inhibited in the batch spiked with chloroform for O 2 −• radical scavenging (Figure 9c, d).…”
