Abstract: Die Zahl der Internetnutzer unter der deutschen Bevölkerung ab 14 Jahren hat sich seit dem Jahr 2000 auf 35,7 Millionen (55,3%) verdoppelt. Auch im Bereich der Psychiatrie und Psychotherapie sowie von Patienten mit psychischen Erkrankungen wird das Internet vermehrt zu informativen, kommunikativen und therapeutischen Zwecken genutzt.
