Suitability evaluation of land reclamation for cultivated land in coal- mining area based on catastrophe progression method

Abstract: The suitability of land reclamation as cultivated land in coal mining area was studied, and a synthetic evaluation model was put forward based on the catastrophe progression method (CPM). The classification of land reclamation suitability status was divided into four grades: suitable, moderately suitable, less suitable and unsuitable. On the basis of comprehensive consideration of three factors including land quality, soil nutrients and engineering suitability in the reclamation area, eleven parameters includi… Show more

“…Due to the small per capita arable land area in Shaodong county, when determining the land reclamation direction of the mining area, the land reclamation is mainly considered as arable land. Referring to relevant studies 21,22,28,[30][31][32][33] , three factors used as suitability evaluation index of land reclamation for arable land including land quality, soil nutrients and engineering suitability are taken into account in this mining area. Eleven parameters, including terrain slope grade, effective thickness of soil layer, soil parent materials, soil contamination, organic content, alkali hydrolyzable nitrogen (N), available phosphorus (P), available potassium (K), ground collapse, land destruction extent, and conditions of irrigation and drainage, are selected as the evaluation indicators.…”

“…In China, the rockburst hazards have aroused significant loss in underground engineering. For example, in the construction process of the Mount Erlang tunnel and Taipingyi water diversion tunnel, the occurrence magnitudes of rockburst hazards respectively arrive several hundred times 6 , the site construction was stopped frequently, and lots of equipment and staff were damaged. Especially in 8.15, 2016, the occurrence of a rockburst in Liangbaosi Coal Mine, Jining, Shandong Province, resulted in the loss of many life 7 .…”
