“…At the practitioner level, an increased uptake of evidence-based intersectional practices such as trauma-informed care, tailored to sub-populations of men, would be an example of translating this intersectional research into practice. This responds to the notion that men from minority cultures are typically socially conditioned to deny injury and/or isolate themselves to conceal their trauma (Affleck et al, 2022). Furthermore, intersectional practices such as this could be accompanied by a formal evaluation of outcomes, assessing whether these methods adequately fit or robustly fail.…”
