Sudden onset of pigmented spots on the soles

Abstract: A 10-year-old female presented with a 2-day history of black and brown spots on her soles. They were not associated with fever, itching, pain, or burning and there were no other skin lesions elsewhere.On examination, there were multiple brown to black macules of varying sizes, over both soles (Figure 1). Dermoscopy findings are shown (Figure 2).
