Sudden-onset, non-traumatic large volume pneumocephalus following presentation of acute bacterial meningitis

Abstract: A man in his 30s, with sinonasal undifferentiated carcinoma status post resection 6 years prior, presented with acute onset of fever, headache and altered mentation. The patient was diagnosed with bacteremia and meningitis due toStreptococcus pneumoniae. A standard antibiotic and corticosteroid regimen was started.
