Successful treatment of severe calciphylaxis in a renal transplant patient with previous total parathyroidectomy

Abstract: Calciphylaxis is a rare dermatological condition strongly associated with chronic kidney disease. The clinical course can be devastating, with high associated morbidity and mortality.
