Subwavelength plasmonic band-pass filter based on metal-insulator-metal structure with elliptic resonator

Abstract: In this paper, a nanoscale band-pass filter in twodimensional plasmonic waveguides with elliptic resonator is proposed, and its performance is validated numerically using method of finite difference time domain (FDTD). The proposed compact filter is applicable in all optical telecommunication systems and networks. It can also be integrated in photonic integrated circuits (PICs).
