Abstract:In this essay, a two-dimensional analytical model for switched flux machines without permanent magnet brushes with E-shape of stator is presented. This machine is a suitable choice for use in hybrid vehicles, due to high power density of this configuration. The radial and tangential components of the magnetic flux density in the presence of only magnets are calculated based on Maxwell's equations and the subdomain method for different areas of the machine, including air gaps.
