Abstract:Advancements in computational capabilities have enabled engineers and scientists to numerically model complex turbulent phenomena such as hydraulic jumps. This research assesses the capability of numerically simulating a hydraulic jump that occurs in the UHE Porto Colômbia's stilling basin at a flow rate of 4,000 m3/s.
