Subleading eikonal, AdS/CFT and double stress tensors

Abstract: The eikonal phase which determines the Regge limit of the gravitational scattering amplitude of a light particle off a heavy one in Minkowski spacetimes admits an expansion in the ratio of the Schwarzschild radius of the heavy particle to the impact parameter. Such an eikonal phase in AdS spacetimes of any dimensionality has been computed to all orders and reduces to the corresponding Minkowski result when both the impact parameter and the Schwarzschild radius are much smaller than the AdS radius. The leading … Show more

“…Inserting (3.10) and (3.11) in the S-channel (3.3) fixes terms proportional to z p log 2 z up to O(z 2 log 2 z). Expanding the ansatz (3.12) and matching with the S-channel reproduces the result obtained in [32]:…”

“…These operators dominate in the lightcone limit over those of higher twist. In [32] an expression for the OPE coefficients of two scalars and minimal-twist double-stress tensor operators in d = 4 was obtained, and the sum was performed to obtain a remarkably simple expression for the near lightcone O(µ 2 ) term in the heavy-heavy-light-light correlator. It was shown to have a similar form to (1.3).…”
