Subcutaneous panniculitis‐like T‐cell lymphoma in a young girl presenting with periorbital edema and fever: A case report

Abstract: Subcutaneous panniculitis‐like T‐cell lymphoma is a rare and highly malignant extra‐nodal lymphoma. It has a wide range of clinical presentations (such as periorbital swelling as in our case) and should be considered in the differential diagnosis of systemic lupus erythematosus, especially in children.

“…The other conditions which can have plaques and nodules with ulceration include lupus panniculitis, cytophagic histiocytic panniculitis, pancreatic panniculitis, nodular vasculitis, and erythema nodosum leprosum.
