Abstract:Subclavian artery injury is a rare complication of clavicle fracture. The fractured clavicle can lacerate the underlying subclavian artery. Life-threatening haemorrhage can occur secondary to arterial laceration, and if distal blood flow is impaired, upper limb ischaemia can develop.
