Abstract: Intracranial hemorrhages can occur after carotid revascularization due to cerebral hyperperfusion syndrome (CHS). Subarachnoid hemorrhages associated with CHS after carotid artery stenting (CAS) have been reported in many cases; however, they are rare after carotid endarterectomy (CEA).
