Abstract:This study represents the schematic and fundamental features of a new MIMO antenna with low-profile elements and suitable characteristics for future cellular communications. Two rows of low-profile hook-shaped ringmonopole antennas with discrete-fed topology are mounted on opposite sides of the board, forming an 8×8 MIMO network.
