Abstract:We report on a high repetition rate noncollinear optical parametric amplifier system (NOPA) seeded by a cavity dumped Ti:Sapphire oscillator. The pump pulses for parametric amplification are generated via soliton generation in a highly nonlinear photonic crystal fiber with a subsequent fiber-based amplification stage and are therefore synchronized. The system is capable of producing high energy ultra-short pulses at repetition rates up to 2 MHz

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
