Abstract:Purpose: Compares surface imaging (SI) to MV films for positioning of 13 patients receiving whole‐breast irradiation. Methods: AlignRT v5.0 was used to capture non‐gated, 3D surface images during filmed fractions (n=55) after positioning with skin marks and correction for rotations. Registrations of SI to a reference surface, generated from 3mm‐thick CT data, were analyzed off‐line for both the “entire” and the “breast” regions. MV films were compared to digitally‐reconstructed radiographs generated from the s… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
