“…A further study found that a 7 days continuous exposure of 0.2 mg/L SM to mussel Mytilus edulis and fish Symphodus melops disrupts lysosomal membrane stability and leads to DNA damage in blood cells and haemocyte (Mamaca et al, 2005).
