Sturm Oscillation and Comparison Theorems

Abstract: Abstract. This is a celebratory and pedagogical discussion of Sturm oscillation theory. Included is the discussion of the difference equation case via determinants and a renormalized oscillation theorem of Gesztesy, Teschl, and the author.
