The Free-Floating Bike-Sharing system (FFBSS) connects users to public transit networks and is an important component of the “last-mile” transport network. However, the rapid development of the FFBSS in China has significantly increased the local municipal workload and deteriorated the public transport. To mitigate these negative impacts, the Chinese government has launched a pilot project of electronic fence spots, by selecting several bike-sharing parking spots from the existing ones to set up the virtual stations. Compared to the traditional public shared bicycles with fixed stations, the flexibility of choosing parking spots could dynamically cater the fast-changing traffic environment and facilitate the renting and returning for users and, therefore, render a more sparse and complicate parking spots network. In this paper, we study the location selection of bike-sharing parking points as a multidimensional problem, which considers not only the interests of users and stakeholders but also the environment and safety issues. We propose a multicriteria decision-making (MCDM) model including the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and the weight-restricted data envelopment analysis (DEA) method to evaluate and determine the optimal bike-sharing parking points. Since the additional weight restrictions in the DEA method might lead to infeasible solutions, we introduce the weight restrictions feasibility theorem to avoid such infeasibility in the proposed weight-restricted DEA model, which has not been thoroughly studied in the literature. Specifically, a hyperplane adjusting model is developed to adjust the infeasible results. In the computational study, we evaluate 36 current parking spots in three regions in Beijing, China, to verify the rationality of the combined approach and put forward some managerial suggestions for this pilot project in Beijing, China.

AbstractIt has long been known that humor has positive effects on human happiness and well-being. The humor, which has been the subject of research by many disciplines, has also recently attracted the attention of researchers working in the field of organizational behavior and the humor in the workplace has come into use of subject of research. This study aims to present the humor perception of the employees in the workplace via metaphors. For this purpose, as a result of the inductive content analysis of the data obtained from 36 bank employees, different perspectives on humor in the workplace were determined. According to this, it has been seen that drugs and doctor metaphors which are associated with health are frequently used and humor is perceived as an organizational element with healing and therapeutic power in the workplace. In addition, metaphors such as sun, life, rainbow, which are often expressed and associated with nature connotations, and metaphors which make nutrient connotations such as salt, sweet and meat, have shown that humor is perceived as a necessary necessity for the survival of the organization member at work. The rationales of the metaphors produced and the logical basis of these metaphors were evaluated within the context of humor theories and it was found that humor was mostly perceived in the context of Relief theory, and that there were also foundations that evoke the theory of Incongruity. In the data obtained from the study group, the rationale and the basis of the metaphor expressing the theory of Superiority were not described.
The present research aimed to investigate the contagion of silence behaviors, and its effects process. 218 respondents who is employed in organizations were surveyed. What were analyzed using structural equation modeling are (1) the contagion of silence behaviors, (2) the casual relationship between two types of silence behaviors(defensive silence, acquiescent silence), and (3) the mediating role of employee's silence behaviors and acquiescent silence in the process of co-worker's corresponding behaviors and silence affecting team silence climate and innovative support behaviors. Results indicated that co-worker's silence behaviors could be contagious and their effects on outcomes were mediated by employee's silence behaviors. Findings also showed that employee's defensive silence affected his/her acquiescent silence and its effect on outcomes was mediated by acquiescent silence. From these results, we discussed the theoretical implications of findings, limitations, suggestions for future research in discussion.
