Studying the a0(980) tetraquark candidate using K0/sK± interactions in the LHC ALICE collaboration

Abstract: The a0(980) meson has been considered a tetraquark candidate for over 40 years, but its actual quark content remains in question. The ALICE Collaboration has carried out measurements of K0 SK ± interactions with pp collisions at √ s = 7 TeV and Pb-Pb collisions at √ sNN = 2.76 TeV to study the a0(980) using the method of two-particle femtoscopy. The a0(980) provides the final-state interaction between the kaons in the pair that is used in the femtoscopic analysis of these collisions. The measured femtoscopic s… Show more

“…The scalar mesons below 1 GeV are an interesting field to researchers, especially for a 0 (980) state. Its internal structure has some pictures, such as quark-antiquark states [46][47][48][49][50][51], tetraquark states [52][53][54][55][56][57], two-meson molecule-bound states [58][59][60][61][62] and hybrid states [63]. In this paper, we mainly take the a 0 (980) state as the quark-antiquark picture.…”
