Study on vibration monitoring and anti-vibration of overhead transmission line

Abstract: Numerous forms of dampers are used to eliminate the vibrations in transmission lines. In the contemporaneous editorial, a survey has been done on vibrations monitoring and anti-vibration of overhead transmission line of transmission lines having multiple dampers for dissimilar cable sizes. To investigate the outcome of the position of dampers on extreme strains created in the line. A comprehensive survey of the extreme strains created is also made for several wind power input conventions. A finite element tech… Show more

“…In solving classification or regression problems using neural networks, the loss function (cost function) is usually used as its objective function [4]. The loss function is used to evaluate the extent to which the predicted value of the model is different from the true value, and the better the loss function is, the better the performance of the model is usually [5].…”

“…In addition, when it comes to practical use in field, the abnormal vibration intensity caused by the standing waves will bring about the unevenness of distribution. [43][44][45] Therefore, average wind speed at a location during seasons should be statistically collected, and the simulated standing waves will be calculated to obtain the average vibration distributions, which can guide the installation of the network and the weight allocation for each sensor unit. Moreover, the resonance frequency randomly occurring at varied positions caused by the intrinsic frequency behavior of transmission lines should also be considered for ameliorating the accuracy for on-site monitoring.…”

“…The development of data mining and machine learning technology has provided new ideas for revealing the mechanism of wind induced disasters in conductors [4]. Data mining and machine learning technology are currently effective means to solve problems such as complex mechanisms and complex influencing factors [5]. They can effectively integrate multi-dimensional and multi-scale data resources, establish a relationship model between influencing factors and wind induced disasters, and solve the problem of traditional methods that cannot cope with the coupling effects of multiple parameters and complex mechanisms in the analysis process [6].…”
