Study on Vibration Characteristics of Polishing Rod for Polishing Aeroengine Blade with Abrasive Cloth Wheel

Abstract: The vibration of grinding tools is very essential to the performance of parts and the safety of machine tools. However, the vibrationis rarely studied in the process of polishing aeroengine blade with abrasive cloth wheel. Polishing force is measured by dynamometer in the process of polishing aeroengine blade with abrasive cloth wheel, and the time-domain expressions of polishing force are obtained. Time-domain and frequency-domain vibration solutions of position at which the abrasive cloth wheel is installed … Show more

“…To restrain the machining vibration of thin-walled parts such as blades, Moradi et al [16] developed a tuneable vibration absorber, and proposed an optimization algorithm to determine the optimal value of absorber parameters. Xian et al [17] found that polishing vibration is not stable in the process of polishing the aero-engine blade with the abrasive cloth wheel. They used the simulation models to obtain the frequency characteristics of the polishing force and rod vibration.…”

“…Wu studied the polishing of M300 Mold steel with elastic abrasive, and the polishing parameters was optimized by Taguchi method so that educe the surface roughness [1]. Xian studied the vibration characteristics of the polishing blade with the abrasive cloth wheel, and the blade damage caused by vibration was reduced [2]. In order to control the vibration of polishing process, Lin proposed a method of predicting the value of polishing vibration signal.…”
