Study on Thermodynamics and Kinetics of Association Interactions between Malachite Green and OP-10 in Aqueous Solutions

Abstract: The absorption spectrum of malachite green (MG) in a series of aqueous solutions with surfactant octylphenol polyoxyethylene ether (10) (OP-10) has been determined by the UV-Vis spectrophotometer. The association interaction between the MG and non-ionic surfactant OP-10 in aqueous solutions resulted in obvious fading of MG.
