Background. The PDCA cycle consists of four stages: P (plan), D (design), C (check), and A (action). With the wide acceptance of PDCA cycle, there is an urgent need to verify the effect of combining this concept with clinical nursing work. Therefore, on the basis of in-depth study of a large number of related literature, the influence of PDCA cycle management mode on nurses’ work efficiency, work enthusiasm, and teamwork ability was explored, so as to provide reference experience for exploring the nursing quality management model adapted to the development of medicine. Objective. To explore the application of PDCA circulation management mode in clinical nursing work and to explore its influence on the work efficiency, enthusiasm, and team cooperation ability of nurses. Methods. From January 2019 to January 2021, the patients were divided into two groups. The control group received routine nursing care, and the research group received the PDCA circulation management mode. Both groups of nurses received one-year training. The nursing quality, the ability of teamwork, the scores of personal quality control in clinical departments, the scores of nursing satisfaction, the number of problems in nursing document quality management, and nurses’ enthusiasm were compared between the two groups. Results. The scores of relationships and family and work balance were greater than those of the control group. The nursing quality result suggested the nursing quality of gynecological operation area, emergency operation area, comprehensive operation area, and surgical operation area in research nurses was significantly better than the control cases ( P < 0.05 ). The quality management of nursing documents showed that the number of problems in nursing documents such as nursing record displayed fewer than control group ( P < 0.05 ). The personal quality-controlled checking in medical department showed that the points of ward governance, head nurse management quality control examination, first-level nursing, recovery, publications on therapeutics, pill governance, and healthcare documentation in the research group were higher than control group ( P < 0.05 ). The teamwork ability implied the scores of interpersonal communications, problem definition, project division, team evaluation assistance and motivation, data collection, interpretation, and extraction of results in the observation group were remarkably greater than those of control group ( P < 0.05 ). The satisfaction mark showed that the scores of care information exchange, advanced technologies, attitude towards care providing, healthcare establishing, knowledge publicity, and learning in the researches were markedly more than those of the control group ( P < 0.05 ). Conclusion. Compared with the traditional clinical nursing management, the use of the PDCA circulation management mode can effectively improve the quality of hospital nursing work, strengthen nurses’ ability of teamwork, improve nurses’ work efficiency and enthusiasm, enhance their sense of achievement of clinical nursing work, then improve patient satisfaction, and enhance the reputation and competitiveness of hospitals. Therefore, the PDCA management model is worth popularizing and applying in clinic.

Objective. The main objective is to investigate the effect of PDCA circulation management on nursing quality in the day operation room. Methods. A retrospective study was performed in 300 patients in the day surgery room. For the control group, 150 patients received routine nursing. For the observation group, 150 patients underwent PDCA circulation nursing management. The scores for nursing quality management, the hospital infection, the detection rate of pathogenic bacteria, the incidence rate of adverse events, the negative emotion of patients, and the satisfaction rate for the day surgery department were recorded and analyzed between two groups. Results. Compared with the control group, the scores for nursing quality management and the satisfaction rate for the day surgery department were significantly increased (all P < 0.05 ), while the hospital infection, the detection rate of pathogenic bacteria, HAMA scores, HAMD scores, and the incidence rate of adverse events were obviously decreased (all P < 0.05 ). Significantly statistical differences were observed between the two groups. Conclusion. PDCA circulation nursing management in the day operating room could optimize the nursing quality management, improve the satisfaction rate of the operating room, reduce the negative emotions of patients, and prevent adverse events in time, with lower hospital infections.

This study aimed to evaluate the effect of functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) under the fuzzy C-means (FCM) clustering algorithm on plan-do-check-action (PDCA) home nursing for patients with diabetic nephropathy (DN). As the characteristics of fMRI image data were combined, the FCM algorithm was improved and applied into the clustering processing of fMRI activation regions of patients. 64 patients with DN were chosen as the research objects and were divided into the research group with PDCA home nursing and the control group with routine home nursing. The patients were randomly divided into the research group (n = 32) and the control group (n = 32). The curative effect, nursing satisfaction, and quality of life of patients after nursing were compared. The results showed that the coverage of fMRI activation points was significantly higher as being detected by the FCM algorithm, and the running time was shortened by 33.6 min. After nursing, the total effective rates in the research group and the control group were 87.5% vs. 34.4% in 3 months, 93.8% vs. 68.8% in 6 months, and 96.9% vs. 75.0% in 12 months, respectively; those in the research group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P < 0.05). The nursing satisfaction score (91.3 ± 4.5 vs. 80.9 ± 5.2) and nursing service quality score (89.7 ± 6.6 vs. 80.3 ± 7.1) in the research group were also significantly higher than those in the control group (P < 0.05). Meanwhile, the scores of each item after nursing in the research group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P < 0.05). The improved FCM algorithm detected the activation regions in the fMRI images more effectively, which could provide help for diagnosis and reduce error and misdiagnosis. At the same time, the PDCA home nursing also offered great help to the recovery of patients with DN, which was more superior for the curative effect of hospitalization, the promotion of recovery, and the improvement of patients’ quality of life.
