Study on the countermeasures to urban heat of street space focusing on walking routes

Abstract: This study investigated thermal environment and pedestrian volume in the walkable area around Fukuyama Station by field survey. Several route scenarios from Fukuyama Station to Central Park were also created, and these are compared and evaluated from the perspective of thermal comfort using numerical calculations.
